What to expect

You hand it to us. Here’s what that feels like.

Nothing to install, no dashboard to learn. You connect your project once, and we keep you posted in plain words. The technical names stay in the small print.

Before

We start with the honest part.

You point us at the place your project lives. One click, and you can take the access back whenever you like. Before anything else happens, we tell you what we can and can’t look at in your app, so nothing comes as a surprise later.

While we work

We go over it, carefully, in a space of its own.

Your app gets a private copy where we look for what could break, and fix what we find. Every fix comes to you in plain words, and nothing lands until you say yes. Changed your mind later? Undo it. If something can’t be fixed with certainty, a person on our team takes that part by hand.

isolated preview · pull request, reviewable & revertible
After you share

Your link goes out. We stay behind it.

You get one live link, running on a setup we look after for you. Send it to your client, your team, or anyone else it was for. We keep watching after that, so if something breaks, you hear it from us first.

Your say-so

Nothing changes without you.

Every fix arrives as a proposal. You read it, you approve it, and you can undo it later. There is no button on our side that can change your app without you.

When we can’t check something

Some apps have corners our checks can’t reach. If yours does, we say so before anything runs, and a person on our team handles that part by hand.

Have something waiting to go out?

If we invite you, you sign in with GitHub and pick one repository. Ship It reads it to work out how your app runs and to check it. It opens a pull request when it has a fix to suggest, and it changes nothing without your say-so. You can take the access back whenever you like.
